About this item

Recently revealed techno behemoth and disco edit master Late Nite Tuff Guy returns with the latest release in his Tuff Cut series with another quartet of floor burning reworks. Up first, "Go For That" takes Darryl and John's (Hall & Oates) finest moment for a stroll through the plug-ins, transforming the blue-eyed yacht groover into a muscle beach throbber with pumping bass and tasty filtering. Next up, "Heard It" sees LNTG reshape Marvin's Motown classic into a rolling disco groover with slinky additional percussion and extra curves in all the right places. As we skip to the flip, things take a turn for the terrace as the Tuff Guy works his magic on the Mac, beefing up "Dreams" with a stomping drum track, rolling conga and plenty of crowd pleasing fx. Whether it's sunset or sunrise, this is could bring a tear to a glass eye. Last but not least, "Startin' Somethin'" sees MJ get an MOT, with the slightly deranged pop majesty of "Thriller's" sixth single emphasised with overlapping guitars, echo drenched vocals and a thumping kick. "You're A Vegetable...." - you said it Mike!
