Produced by their mate Baxter Dury, "More Money Less Grief" avoids the clichéd one dimensional formula often adopted by young bands today; incorporating and invoking pop hooks, thrashy punk rock, hummable choruses, tongue-in cheek humour, frank pub-crawl tales of teenage sex and adventure, whilst still capturing the youthful exuberance that makes them uniquely The Metros.
