About this item

The second in the series, Perry had so many hot dubs from his "Megaton" sessions in the Black Ark Studio that he split the album across two releases! Originally released in 1984 but recorded about 5 years previous, it features a killer dub of The Congos "Row Fisherman Row" (titled "Fisherman Dub" here) alongside Jack Lord & The Upsetters breathtaking "Economic Crisis" ("Dub Crisis"). The album sees Perry on top form, working the dub delays, kill switches and phazers to maximum effect! These are dubs of the highest, most spirital order folks, there's not a single duff track on the whole LP! Lush, rootsical vocal performances washed in echo, catchy hooks and hefty bass presha throughout, this is a killer set for reggae / dub fans and pretty darn essential if you ask me.
