About this item

Repress of seminal 12” by Dub War: “Murderous Style / Generation” (TEMPA004), originally released in 2001. You can clearly see the development from UKG into dubstep here, with those skitty drums and two-step swagger coalescing with the dubwise influence: soundbwoy shout outs, wub'ing sub bass, neck snapping snares - the embryonic sound of dubstep coming to life through one of its earliest inceptions. A true piece of soundsystem history.

STAFF COMMENTS

Matt says: Hard to believe this record is 25 years old! One of the very early blueprints of the genre, criminally out of press for an eternity. Nice to see Tempa revisiting this foundational record.
