About this item

James Pennington, aka the Suburban Knight, returns to the Resistance as Dark Energy, a totally unknown form of matter that with this double pack again frustrates the programmers of sound as they have no counter for it. Pennington and another unknown escaped slave from Planet X skillfully hoodoo you with a cosmic trance-like spiritual state of dance that allows you to see more with the midnight sunshine.

STAFF COMMENTS

Matt says: Easily one of my favourite records out of the entire UR catalogue. "Mau Mau" is one of the most primitive, feral, and incredible Detroit techno tracks ever produced. The EP now comes boosted with an extra track that wasn't on the original version, making this reissue a pivotal artifact in the history of Motor City music.
