Singer/Guitarist Ben Hozie says "The new Bodega album, All Inside Aquarium, was an attempt to make a more anthemic summery, and perhaps emotional record than Bodega's done in the past. More anthemic, open- hearted, and populist sort of sound. Influenced by the early 1990s. Big choruses, big anthems, and hopefully rousing sing- alongs that inspire some kind of hopeful feeling. At least as a music fan, that's what I want nowadays."
