About this item

Over the years, Heron has formed a body of work that feels personal and individual, blending Beatles-inspired harmonies with alternative textures, modern R&B influences and a strong pop appeal. Heron has always approached music as part of a larger artistic vision since his debut album, The Brown Room, arrived in 2002 and introduced listeners to a songwriter with a unique and engaging sound. Seven years later, Heron Vs Heron expanded that sonic world further, revealing an artist continuing to take his creative expression in new directions.

Throughout 'Underground Sky', Heron has built a world of self-reflection, imagination and artistic independence. Every aspect of the project bears his creative fingerprint, demonstrating a steadfast mission of following ideas wherever they lead without compromise. The release of “Something Nothing” also clears the path for the physical arrival of Underground Sky and in keeping with the handcrafted nature of the project, the album will be available in highly limited editions. Just 81 hand-numbered white vinyl records will be produced, alongside 25 cassette copies with each vinyl edition including a unique original artwork print, ensuring that every record becomes an exclusive piece of the wider creative vision.
