The new 12" from Roots Recordings is from LA's Mullie Graf with remixes from fellow Los Angeles house heads Natural Rhythm. Original and remix versions of "One More Chance" and "Hang On" their take on the Rufus & Chaka Khan classic. Bumpin' deep house with that West Coast flavor, a mix of grit and grace. 

Mullie Graf is a cornerstone of the Los Angeles underground, with a history that stretches back to the city's formative mid-90s house scene. Following a string of successful releases on Natural Rhythmic Music and Wulfpack, and Good For You Records, Graf brings his seasoned ear and technical precision to the Roots family. "One More Chance" is a masterclass in tension and release, opening with spaced-out atmospheres and driving drums that command immediate attention. For the remix Natural Rhythm (the duo of Thomas White & Pete Williams) deliver a powerful dub of deep, stripped down grooves and upfront percussion. The flipside "Hang On" is a dive into deep house textures with piano, silky vocals and a funked-out bassline with inspiration from the Rufus & Chaka Khan classic.
