About this item

One of those records you don't realize you need until you hear it. Nautilus cover Alicia Keys and Jay-Z's ode to New York via an ingenious, piano-led, jazz-funk version. One of those head turning moments that can form the centrepoint of any crowd-pleasing DJ set; or simply elevate sunday roasts and cocktail hours with its familiar sonic decadence. Meanwhile on side B, Nautilus cover the less well known Jazzanova track, "Mwela, Mwela". A modern splendor of bruk'ing jazz funk mayhem, underpinned with strong vocal harmonies and frenetic instrumental work. Nautilus does a great job recreating the magic of the original.

A wonderful curveball of a 7" that comes highly recommended by us and the legions of bar DJs across the city!
