'Drift' shifts between abstraction and rhythm with ease, where tracks like the deep techno leaning 'Trust the Current' and thumping 'Underwater World Pursuit' feel fluid, never fixed in place. There's a colder edge to 'Again' and 'Higher', while 'Breakthrough' and 'Ode to Life' bring a more unhinged groove. Throughout, textures carry as much weight as drums or melody on what is a personal, exploratory LP that sits in a class of its own.

Barry says: A deep, rhythmic selection of hypnotic instrumentals and slowly morphing percussive loops tempered by wisps of glitch and swathes of traditional Moroccan groove. Incredibly engaging, textured synth music with momentum and plenty of surprises.
