Originally released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Miles Davis' Kind of Blue, the album stands as a profound statement from the legendary drummer of that historic session. On this record, Cobb is joined by Roy Hargrove on trumpet & flugelhorn, Russell Malone on guitar, John Webber on bass. Together with his own signature tasteful, swinging drumming, he crafts a masterclass in straight-ahead jazz. First issued on CD/SACD in 2009, the album has been out of print ever since.
