About this item
Ska-punk stalwarts Less Than Jake celebrate the 25th anniversary of their bestselling album with this expanded edition.
Released in 2000, third wave ska band Less Than Jake took bold steps on ‘Borders & Boundaries’. With producer Steve Kravac at the helm, the album leans into skate-pop punk more than any previous album.
A polarizing release initially (some critics wrote about wanting more horns and ‘major label sellouts’), with Punknews calling the album ‘underrated’ and Canada’s Chart Attack and Germany’s Rock Hard and Ox-Fanzine disagreeing, as did Downed in Sound, who gave the album a perfect 10/10, writing “every song is so darn catchy.” 25 years later, ‘Borders & Boundaries’ is now the band’s most popular release.
This 25th anniversary edition includes five previously unreleased demos and a new mix of ‘Is this Thing on?’.
