The source material is Viola Klein’s solo record "Confidant" and the collaboration with the Sabar Ensemble Diop from Saint Louis, titled "We". Whodat in Detroit, Kassem Mosse in Leipzig, Nídia in Lisbon, and Viola Klein in Cologne and Dakar reshape the places where deep house, leftfield, kuduro, and mbalax originated and/or continue to thrive: the USA, Germany, Portugal, and Senegal.
