Pipe-eye’s fifth album, ‘Pipe-defy’, sees Cook Craig, also of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, exploring new sonic landscapes.

With a groove-driven sound inspired by 1970s / 1980s synth and funk, the album shifts from the lofi aesthetics of previous releases to a high-fidelity experience.

Blending mesmeric synth rhythms with powerful basslines, ‘Pipe-defy’ is a bold, genre-defying record that captures the quirky, melancholic essence of Craig’s artistry.

Pipe Eye is among the larger creative endeavours from the King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard members, offshoots of which include The Murlocs, Bullant, Cavs, Gum/Ambrose and more.

This new album is the first under King Gizzard’s new (p)doom records imprint.
