KSmooth da Programma, a veteran of Chicago recording sessions, produces this highly soulful LP for UK label Love Universal. Vocal and instrumental versions included. House music with a deep, soulful, RnB edge; nicely rough around the edges and drenched in emotion. There's some mighty fine sounds on show here - from the warm piano chords to the almost ASMR-beauty of the drums. Super detailed production lending itself to the live and organic end of the spectrum. A big one for fans of Detroit house - KDJ, Amp Fiddler, 3 Chairs etc. Really good and most definitely ESSENTIAL.

Matt says: I'd never heard of KSmooth before this, but the producer has truly dazzled on his Hot Biscuit-related, Love Universal debut. Probably my favourite of the recent batch! Hitting that languid deep house vibe a la 3 Chairs with grace and perfection.
