Hantrax is an interesting feller. Belgian born, real name Han Swolfs originally began playing and composing on cello and piano, and was an inducti of Antwerp Jazz Studio in 1999. Forced to quit in 2002 due to a spell of extended psycosis (!!) he continued to compose music and moved into electronic, specifically electro production - the fruits of which are available here across two volumes. 

"Tracks From The Basement 1" contains classic synth patches and drum machines programmed with rigerous vigor and experimentation, recalling the genius of RX-101, AFX, Underground Resistance, Radioactive Man and many other cult adored mainframe molestors. There's plenty of charisma and interesting nuances, characterized by a rough-and-ready, maverick approach.
