2025 marks the 15th anniversary of 2010's comedy film Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, co-written, produced and directed by Edgar Wright, based on the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley. The ensemble cast is led by Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, a slacker musician who is trying to win a competition to get a record deal, while also battling the seven evil exes of his new girlfriend Ramona Flowers. The soundtrack was executive produced by Nigel Godrich with Edgar Wright and includes a number of original tracks composed by Beck and performed in the film by Sex Bob-Omb – the band featuring star Michael Cera on bass along with a previously unreleased track from Metric and tracks from Broken Social Scene, Beachwood Sparks, The Bluetones, Blood Red Shoes, Black Lips and Frank Black. There’s also room for classics from Marc Bolan & T-Rex and the Rolling Stones.
