A true musical visionary, Eric San aka Kid Koala combined a sensei-like approach to his craft with wild humour, giving his art an utterly inimitable quality. A dedicated turntablist (“turntablism”: the art of using turntables as a musical instrument to create original sounds, mixes, and rhythms), San recorded 'Carpal Tunnel Syndrome' entirely on turntables, hand-cutting vinyl records onto an eight-track recorder. The result is an eccentric, joyful romp through his uniquely warped and brilliant mind.
