To celebrate their 50th release, Metroplex dug deep into Juan's back catalogue and rediscovered four gems that had never been repressed since 1993. After a proper restoration, a new mastering and a precise cut, they are happy to re-introduce these incredible, highly sought after tracks on vinyl once again (and with proper credits on the track listing).

"The Future Sound EP" is a great example of Juan Atkins' curation for Metroplex Records. Different artists were invited to the studio to give their interpretations of what the label is about. The release often fetches large sums on the 2nd hand market, so this remastered version, available for the first time since 1993, is likely to fly off the shelves..

Matt says: Hugely in demand artefact from the Metroplex catalogue given a much needed remaster since it's first inception in 1993. Still sounding as futuristic as ever 30 years later (testament to the forward thinking Motor City spirit). A much needed record for any serious techno collector worth their salt - now they don't have to fork out over £100 for the privilege!
