About this item
The Sound were a seminal English post-punk band formed in South London in 1979 by lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Adrian Borland, alongside drummer Mike Dudley, bassist Graham Bailey, and keyboardist Benita “Bi” Marshall. Though their debut album 'Jeopardy' is now widely recognized as a cornerstone of the post-punk movement, the band struggled to achieve commercial success on par with their peers, ultimately disbanding in 1988.
Following on from their critically acclaimed 'Shock Of Daylight' EP, the Sound returned to the studio to record their fourth full length studio album 'Heads And Hearts'. Includes the singles ‘One Thousand Reasons’, ‘Temperature Drop’ and ‘Under You’.
Now available for the first time in a deluxe 2CD gatefold format, this expanded edition includes the original studio album split over two discs and complete with bonus tracks, unseen photos and lyrics.
