I'm no expert (really? - Ed) but source material is unbeknownst to me! But straddles the tasteful end of the late 70s and jazz-funk spectrum - think big vocals, frenetic bass work, pounding 4/4 live drums and plenty of hustle and bustle! Last track, "The Streets" sounds like Gil Scott Heron's backing band getting truly ON ONE!
