‘LUSHLAND’ is the debut album from R&B artist Silas Short, out on Stones Throw.

‘LUSHLAND’ is a late night drive through heartbreak, fear of failure and life in a brand new city. The album is filled with soulful songs rooted in 1980s and 90s R&B, informed by Silas’s years of playing in gospel bands with his father and an early education in hip-hop, funk and neo-soul.

Players / producers on the album include James Poyser of The Roots, Luke Titus, Ryan James Carr and Charlie Coffeen.
