Star Creature continue on their licensed reissue remit. After spending years delivering fresh new boogie and modern soul to the world they're delving back into the history of the genre, shining a light on some lesser known gems or simply must-have's for any serious collector!

"Stay Sweet" by Gary, Indiana's Into New Dimensions (or IND) is one such record. The overlooked but certified floor filler is the very definition of organic sunshine boogie - confidently wandering into jazz-funk territory. Funky slap bass, bright horn blasts, muted guitar chops, and empowered male vox, with brilliant chord progressions and key changes.  

"Into New Dimensions", the title track off the eponymous 1981 album, is a slow, smoochy soul cut with heavy orchestration. The eagle eared will recognize that intro hook as sampled by Action Bronson. Liquid soul quickly runs through the track, as IND muse over interdimensional love and yearning. Top drawer stuff indeed. 

Two pivotal tracks off an album that'll set you back at least a ton second hand. Big ups Star Creature.
