Bodhi is Wales' Luke Welsby and Olly Howells who've been around since about 2013 with a modest but impressive range of tracks across labels such as Black Butter, Future Classic, Ten Thousand Yen and Hot Haus. 

"Laurus Ascending" is released on Scuba's Hotflush label and sees the duo combine precision synth programming, inventive bass technology and fine tuned breakbeat finesse into a killer club hybrid that should tickle the fancy of anyone into Joy O, Overmono, Four Tet or Daniel Avery. 

Across six tracks Bodhi deliver a speaker rattling, futureproof formula that's all of their own creation. With the swagger of garage, the aggression of hardcore and the rib-tickling bass of dubstep - plus the out of body stadium soaring of modern techno - it's intoxicating, arresting, and full on 2024 shit.
