Clone's brilliantly named Aqualung series continues its Poseidon Adventure into the very depths of the basement rave up as we get hit with alternate mixes of two seminal Drexciya tracks. Up first on the A-side is the no holds barred techno majesty of "Black Sea", a stormy peaktime cut which eschews the duo's usual electro-tinged approach for an all out assault of spitting, snarling techno. The sub aquatic pads are still present, but find themselves completely overpowered by the mad resonance of that seething "Higher State Of Consciousness" style synthline! Jump to the flip and shake your ass to the funkiest slice of Drexciyan electro this side of the ocean floor, as the duo go deep and disco on "Unknown Journey XI. Last but not least we get a different mix of "Wavejumper" (without the infamous 'skip') which takes us on a hypnotic trip into the deepest blackest regions of the galaxy with phasing synth sequences, sci fi melodies and hissing percussion.
