Cultivating driving indie-rock with the starkness of The Walkmen channelled through My Bloody Valentine, Salad Days is one of YBAs more optimistic tracks. The nostalgia in the lyrics somehow makes its way into the frantic wall of sound created by guitarist Sebastian Mariner, anchoring the band’s sound firmly within the indie-rock territory, while softening the blow at the same time.

The single is released on hand etched, limited edition vinyl, designed by the band and artist friends. Each one is hand signed by the person who etched it and is personally numbered. The sleeve is hand screen printed.
