Next up from the very eclectic Rong Music imprint is this remix EP from West Indian Girl, a rock band from Los Angeles, with an LSD-related name. The initials are also a reference to band members James' and Ten's previous outfit, Wig. On the remix tip Scotty Coats and Wes The Mes join forces as Wes Coats (Did you see what they did there?) for some psychedelic disco grooving on "Solar Eyes", mixing up tripped-out weirdness with infectious percussive disco-funk rhythms. A hottie! Over on the flip Texans Patterns Form twist "Rise From The Dead" into a cross between shoegazing, psychedelic rock and downbeat.
