Citing influences as diverse as Sonic Youth and Yellow Magic Orchestra, Villa Nah conjure up glacial soundscapes synonymous with their homeland.

The Finnish duo of Juho Paalosmaa and Tomi Hyyppä take their name from the east Helsinki suburbs where they grew up and describe their sound as “music about dreams and time”. Juho sings and writes the songs; Tomi makes the sounds, enriched by the tactile aural potency of vintage synths and analogue experimentation.
