The Laboratory Project is ANTI CONTRIVED POP and PRO ORIGINAL / ORGANIC MUSIC and artists. 'Taste Masters 2' is the second compilation in the series that focusses purely on featuring brilliant music (musical feasts rather than the snacks and jingles the mainstream has to offer). It features 11 amazing tracks and around 80 musicians some of whom will be familiar - MC Tunes (808 State, Dust Junkys), Mike Sweeney (Salford Jets), Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets), Chris Britton (The Troggs), Rowetta (Happy Mondays), Paul White (Sound on Sound) et al.

There are a number of factors that bind the songs together, other than their inclusion on this compilation: None of the artists featured here are trying to be anything other than themselves or compromise their musical integrity in the pursuit of chart success. Every track featured has been chosen because it is a real song, presenting great ideas. This material represents human endeavour and it has been sculpted with care, passion, and a love of music.
