Latin percussionist, band leader, recording artist and DJ of different permutations and eras of jazz, Latin, funk and soul, Snowboy was asked by Wayne Hemingway to be a curator at the inaugural Vintage festival on the Sussex Downs in 2010. Inspired by that venture he now brings us 'New Vintage' - vintage sounds made by current artists / groups. The 21 track set takes in swing, rhythm & blues, rockabilly, mambo, northern soul, rock & roll and mod jazz. It includes tracks by Imelda May, Kitty Daisy and Lewis, James Hunter, Sharon Jones, Eli 'Paperboy' Reed, Caro Emerald, Speedometer, Darrel Higham, The James Taylor Quartet, Kings Go Forth and even the 40 year old outfit Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rockers.
