The "Kings Of..." series continues in its aim of bringing us forgotten and neglected gems from the a variety if different musical genres. For the ninth outing the label delves into the vast world of electro, with the help of influential DJ / designer / producer and remixer Trevor Jackson, aka Playgroup, and production / remix duo Alter Ego, who bring us a selection of their favourite electro tracks. On LP part 2 Alter Ego bring us the present day incarnation of electro, exploring a range of contemporary styles influenced by early electro. Includes releases on labels like UR, M_Nus, Planet E and Basic Channel. Azzido Da Bass, Robert Hood, Galaxy To Galaxy, Dopplereffekt, Maurizio and Maurice Fulton are all featured.
