ABOUT THIS ITEM
After getting played so often on our shop soundsystem that the promo's nearly melted, the full release of the Idjut Boys long-awaited mix CD for Tirk is here. And it's no ordinary set, as Dan and Conrad compile, tweak, touch-up and re-edit a selection of disco rarites, recent floorfillers, mad cover versions, unreleased tracks, quirky gems and out-there finds, all crammed into a cohesive 77 minute rollercoaster ride. Any DJs that can blend such rare originals as Harry Thumann's "Underwater", Tantra's "(A Place Called) Tarot", Sandy's Gang's "Hungry" and Kitty Grant's "Glad To Know You" with Mark De Clive-Lowe, Lindstrom & Prins Thomas, Plant Life, The Rebirth and Kathy Diamond, and still find time for the likes of Mu, Etta James, Willis and Haircut 100 are pretty much untouchable as far as I'm concerned.
