ABOUT THIS ITEM
Before the hip hop and house explosions, electro-funk DJ Greg Wilson was at the forefront of the UK's dance music underground, with residencies at Wigan Pier and the Hacienda amongst other night spots. As well as using vinyl, he also created his own edits using reel-to-reel tape equipment and presenting mixes on Manchester's Piccadilly Radio (no relation) that inspired artists such as Norman Cook, A Guy Called Gerald, The Unabombers and Mr Scruff. With the first "Credit To The Edit" compilation Greg took us back to those unreleased edits. With volume two Tirk bring together some of his more recent reworks, plus some back-in-the-day oldies as well.
