Man Recordings collect together the best cuts from their Funk Mundial 12" series, which has been bringing the stars of Brazilain baile funk together with western producers. The series has pushed the boundaries of Brazilian music further afield, commissioning some of the world's hottest electro, fidget house, broken beat producers (Crookers, Jesse Rose, Seiji, Count & Sinden, Feadz, Stereotyp, Daniel Haaksman, Frikstailers, Riva Starr, Chancha Via Circuito etc) to collaborate with hand-picked MCs from Rio, creating a new musical hybrid, Funk Mundial, the international interpretation of the city's 21st century party music.
