Here it comes... The debut compilation CD from Bass Gun Records: a label routed in the underground electro scene whose artists are brave enough to also explore other musical interests. Artists such as Synapse & Full Spectrum have inter-weaved drum & bass and breaks into their futuristic electro productions, whilst Mancunian artists Teutonic Kaboom and SmashBack have fused dubstep, techno and old skool rave to create electro hybrids. The label has built up a solid reputation for promoting home-grown talent by employing the mind-boggling artistic skills of Manchester’s Chump collective, who designed the cover for this compilation as well as many of the labels EPs. This compilation is comprised of the best 12 tracks of the label’s first two years and includes an unreleased track by Mazzula, and competition winner Ben Phaze’s remix of SmashBack’s "Ladder" track from the City Parks album. These tracks have been tried & tested by big name DJs such as Dave Clarke & Radioactive Man.
