ABOUT THIS ITEM

"A Sort Of Homecoming" celebrates the best new Scottish music in the Homecoming year. It makes no apologies for adopting a familiar indie-pop paradigm, while throwing elements of folk, country, punk and bedroom pop into the melding pot. The album features 21 tracks from 19 Scottish artists. There is a nice mix of the well known, the soon-to-be-known and bands you might never have heard of, although this is Scotland so guitars are prominent in the musical landscape.
