Long Island Five-piece Twin Sister release this limited edition remix 12”. Featuring a Balam Acab remix of "Kimmi In A Rice Field" backed with a Lindstrom & Prins Thomas remix of "Bad Street", this looks set for big things round these parts. Both songs appear on their debut album In "Heaven" (recently named one of Stereogum's Top 50 albums of 2011).

Balam Acab applies his subtle synthwave electronics to Twin Sister singer Andrea Estella's dreamy vocals with enchanting results. Superb stuff. Scando-Med cosmicians Lindstrom & Prins Thomas never do things by halves, and here they transform "Bad Street" into an epic electro-acoustic disco epic. Again, the vocals work a treat with the remixed music. The track keeps building to a euphoric, mantra-like layered session before breaking down to minimal electro and rapped vox. Brilliant.
