Originally commissioned by Mercury winners The xx for an abandoned album of covers, Tracey sings ‘Night Time’, a collaboration with Everything But The Girl partner Ben Watt first time in 10 years. Ben's guitar playing shines through on this sublime cover version, which mixes a downtempo beats and electronic sounds with an acoustic touch. On the flip there are two reworks of Tracey's "Love And Its Opposite" LP track "Swimming". Ewan Pearson produces, while Visionquest and Charles Webster remix. Websteris up first, supplying a deep, beat-driven house refix. On the flip Visionquestgo deeper still with an epic remix that teases us with build-up until the vocal breakdown halfway through.
