Following recent Rekids label singles "A Close Shave", "Dave's Sex Bits" and "Nervoso", Toby Tobias delivers his debut artist album "Space Shuffle". After "Squeakstop Intro", we have the lush, blissful Balearic shuffler "Schoon", which features pattering percussion and some delightfully squelchy electro-bass. "Who Dunnit?" moves up a gear, slotting in some bumping electro breaks, low chimes and funky guitar licks, while "Say It Slow" is an echo-laden phased and filtered electro-acoustic cut - another one for the Balearic massive. Slowly the album moves up through the bpms into more dancefloor orientated territory with some equally lush, but more uplifting electronic house cuts, including new single and future anthem "The Feeling". A wonderful album for home listening with a handful of cuts for the club too.
