Re-release of a hard to find early 90s NY deep house 12" originally out on Nu Groove label now re-ished on Tu Rong.  With a real organic, live feel "Laidback & Groovy" is perfect party music - beautiful keys, string lines and underlying melodies make this a firm favourite to get the ladies (and consequently the fellers) on the dancefloor! On this, the 'Delta Version' we get an extentended arrangement, with a wonderfully building bridge, epic key changes in the later choruses and a  beautiful piano solo by a Mr. Warren Rosenstein. On the flip "Sharde" has some crazy flute and lead lines in a kind of Eastern-influenced scale over some machine-code hi-hats and rolling bass. Live piano chords and strings slowly fill out the track as we are taken on an lovely journey over 8+ minutes. With a real uptempo, feel-good vibe mixed with heavy, club-friendly beats this is a real winner to get energy levels flying off the meter. Peaking!
