ABOUT THIS ITEM
Originally released on Y Records (Y5) and then Rough Trade in 1980, "For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder?" was Bristol punk-funk outfit The Pop Group's second album. As with previous album "Y", the set lays down a base of free-jazz and hyper punk-funk for Mark Stewart to spit his seathing polemic over, while World government and despotic regimes are excoriated. This post-punk classic also features a collaboration with poet / rap pioneers The Last Poets.
