Los Angeles based electronic duo The Polyamorous Affair release their sophomore effort on Manimal Vinyl. Consisting of singer/songwriter Eddie Chacon and seductive front-woman, Sissy Saint-Marie, they churn out 10 electro-pop gems under the concept of Bolshevik Disco. Chacon himself is no stranger to the spotlight, having been one-half of R&B duo Charles & Eddie (#1 Worldwide hit, "Would I Lie To You"). Barely out of his teens he worked on 2 Live Crew's notorious album, "As Nasty AS They Wanna Be" and with Daddy O of Stetsasonic. After leaving his home-base in Denmark, Edddie returned to Los Angeles and formed the Polyamorous Affair with spouse and former primary school teacher, Sissy Saint-Marie. Together the two deliver the inspired dance beats of Giorgio Moroder and the raw sexuality of Serge Gainsbourg's collaborations with vixens, Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot. Give that a twist of Marc Bolan-esque hooks and Goldfrapp's technological pagan naturist ways and you get the Polyamorous Affair.
