'Awake' is an early 70s cut by vocal harmony group The Ethiopians. Although the track pre-dates the Black Ark period Perry Productions by three or four years, with soulful vocals and a restrained Upsetter production it's still a lovely tune. the track has never been re-pressed or released on any format since its early 70s Jamaican release, making it a must-have for Perry collectors.

Crisp label and packaging and beautifully produced by Mr Perry. The Upsetters B-side 'Awake Version' is exclusive to this 45 and not on the upcoming Pressure Sounds album 'High Plains Drifter'. Each record comes in a hand stamped bag.
