ABOUT THIS ITEM
Aaah, blue-eyed soft-pop soul, don'tcha just love it! The Doobie's 1979 west coast pop smash gets revived on this reissue twelve. The piano line, the cheesy keyboard riff, the vocal, the big chorus hook... this is pop perfection. And things get even better as this classic is paired with two big'uns from Doobie Brothers frontman Michael McDonald. "I Keep Forgetting" you should all recognise as the sample source for Warren G's massive G-funk track "Regulate". I feel a bit of DJ creativity coming on... Lastly we get 1983 gospel uplifter "Ya Mo Be There" which McDonald guested on for James Ingram. Definitely one of those uplifting-but-cheesy guilty pleasure moments.
