Fantastic reissue of the original Pierrot Records' release of The Chaplin Band's stunning 12 minute version of "Il Veliero". This wonderfully grooving disco rarity from 1982 was an original Balearic classic back in the day and still remains a huge favourite of DJs like Harvey, Rug N' Tug, The Glimmers etc, and always features highly on disco DJs' wants lists. With a groove that moves any dancefloor and a bassline to die for, this classic was covered in 2007 by Lindstrom for his hit "The Contemporary Fix", but really nothing ever came close to capturing the brilliance of the Chaplin Band's original. Perfectly remastered and released with all original sleeve art, this is an absolute must have - killer!
