Debut release for the Shoes edit crew side-label Plimsoll. Despite being shipped in from the US, this EP has roots much closer to home, being made in this here Manchester. Golden Flamingo Orchestra's awesome NY disco classic "Guardian Angel" is the tune getting the edit treatment. First up there's a heavenly disco cut-up with breaks and dubby effects (a la Beatfanatic). We're liking this one a lot! The flipside comes with a remix from Diesler which should hit the spot for 'UK funky' heads. The Shoes crew finish things off with a deep filtered hypnotic disco groove version.
