ABOUT THIS ITEM
Dancehall saviour of Studio One, and co-architect of Black Victory, Wackies stalwart Sugar Minott himself takes the mic here, kicking off the imperious "Tempo Explosion" version-excursion LP (see Dug-Out album), and on the final Black Victory release, the single "Sheriff John Brown". The track is a driving sufferers cliffhanger about bent cops and going on the run - perfect reggae material then, all laid down in an 80s dancehall style, complete with version and dub.
