Electric Minds deliver their 4th release (well actually third as one has gone missing) and it seems their roster is proving an interesting and rewarding one. This time Big Bear / Bearfunk head honch Steve Kotey teams up with Max Essa to deliver three lessons in the digi-disco vein. Kicking of side-A with "1974" which pitches a nice driving Italo style bassline with a big wobbly synth noise, heavy beat and some funky lead guitar action. Over on side-B "1988" tones things down somewhat with a weird off kilter techy disco number. And last up is the super groovy "1981" which has a similar synth sound to a Le Club record, adding in some heavy conga action, big sub bass and some lovely Summery guitar lines.
