Playing and singing together since their school days in West Sussex, Smoke Fairies (Jessica Davies & Katherine Blamire) create ethereal, dark and haunting left-of -centre folk and blues songs wrapped in beautiful harmonies with the occasional psychedelic flourish. Over the years they’ve played with Bryan Ferry, Richard Hawley and the Handsome Family. Following an EP and two singles, they now release their first for Jack White’s Third Man Records.
