Superlative confounding three-piece Sir Yes Sir release their debut EP "Not Excited" on Hope Club Records. The EP will be available on limited edition cassette and will be followed by the band’s debut album in May 2010.

Sir Yes Sir was born in Manchester and now splits its time between London and Manchester. Daniel Cowley (bass / vox) and Joseph Logan (guitar / vox) spent some time perfecting their home recording skills and experimenting with their trusty drum machine before recently enlisting the drum know how of friend Sam Turner and teaching him to play like Gary Young battling a TR-808.

"Not Excited" is the band’s first bonafide and strictly legit release for Hope Club and is a musical game of two halves. Side A includes a track from Sir Yes Sir’s forthcoming debut album and is action packed with ear bending hooks that mix bands like Dinosaur Jr. and the Thermals with a uniquely UK twist. Side B is covered in home-recording fuzz, and features alternate versions of three songs from the SYS hit archive.
